Shown on left. The floating floor socket is a two piece unit to allow floating floors to "move" without damaging the floor. The 5" ID top plate is non-rusting, solid cast bronze which fits into the top finished floor. The 3.060" ID steel floor sleeve fits below the air space into the concrete sub-floor. Different floor constructions can affect the installation depths of floor sleeves in floating floors which in turn effects the height of the top of the post and net.
